Why volunteer for the Y?
At the YMCA of Jefferson County, we offer a range of benefits to enhance the spirit, mind and body. Perhaps the greatest benefit to our volunteers is the opportunity to make our community a better place to live. Our volunteers use their skills to provide outstanding services, whether they be in afterschool and summer programs, tutoring or mentoring. The possibilities are limitless! You may even discover a talent you never knew you had while volunteering at the Y. Few other organizations offer the diverse volunteer opportunities in Jefferson County that the YMCA does. So if you seek a fulfilling role in a service-oriented organization, apply in person today or call our office for more information!
